【摘要】:TheIDandDCNvaluesdeterminedbythistestmethodcanprovideameasureoftheignitioncharacteristicsofdieselfueloilincompressionignitionengines.Thistestcanbeusedbyenginemanufacturers,petroleumrefinersandmarketers,andincommerceasaspecificationaidtorelateormatchfuelsandengines.TherelationshipofdieselfueloilDCNdeterminationstotheperformanceoffull-scale,variable-speed,variable-loaddieselenginesisnotcompletelyunderstood.Thistestmaybeappliedtonon-conventionalfuels.Itisrecognizedthattheperformanceofnon-conventionalfuelsinfull-scaleenginesisnotcompletelyunderstood.Theuseristhereforecautionedtoinvestigatethesuitabilityofignitioncharacteristicmeasurementsforpredictingperformanceinfull-scaleenginesforthesetypesoffuels.Thistestdeterminesignitioncharacteristicsandrequiresasampleofapproximately100mLandatesttimeofapproximately20minonafit-for-useinstrument.1.1Thisautomatedlaboratorytestmethodcoversthequantitativedeterminationoftheignitioncharacteristicsofconventionaldieselfueloil,oil-sandsbasedfuels,blendsoffuelcontainingbiodieselmaterial,dieselfueloilscontainingcetanenumberimproveradditives,andisapplicabletoproductstypicalofASTMSpecificationD975gradesNo.1-Dand2-Dregularandlow-sulfurdieselfueloils,EuropeanstandardEN590,andCanadianstandardsCAN/CGSB-3.517and3.6-2000.Thetestmethodmayalsobeappliedtothequantitativedeterminationoftheignitioncharacteristicsofdieselfuelblendingcomponents.1.2Thistestmethodmeasurestheignitiondelayandutilizesaconstantvolumecombustionchamberwithdirectfuelinjectionintoheated,compressedair.AnequationcorrelatesanignitiondelaydeterminationtocetanenumberbyTestMethodD613,resultinginaderivedcetanenumber(DCN).1.3Thistestmethodcoverstheignitiondelayrangefrom3.1to6.5ms(64to33DCN).Thecombustionanalyzercanmeasureshorterandlongerignitiondelays,butprecisionmaybeaffected.FortheseshorterorlongerignitiondelaysthecorrelationequationforDCNisgiveninAppendixX2.ThereisnoinformationabouthowDCNsoutsidethe33to64rangecomparetoTestMethodD613cetanenumbers.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Sedimentexposureevaluationsareacriticalcomponentforbothecologicalandhumanhealthriskassessments.Credible,cost-effectivemethodsarerequiredtodeterminetherateandextentofbioaccumulationgiventhepotentialimportanceofbioaccumulationbybenthicorganisms.Standardizedtestmethodstoassessthebioavailabilityofsediment-associatedcontaminantsarerequiredtoassistinthedevelopmentofsedimentqualityguidelines(1,2,3)andtoassessthepotentialimpactsofdisposalofdredgematerials(4).Theextenttowhichsediment-associatedcontaminantsarebiologicallyavailableandbioaccumulatedisimportantinordertoassesstheirdirecteffectsonsediment-dwellingorganismsandassesstheirtransporttohighertrophiclevels.Controlledstudiesarerequiredtodeterminethepotentialforbioaccumulationthatcanbeinterpretedandmodeledforpredictingtheimpactofaccumulatedchemicals.Thedatacollectedbythesemethodsshouldbecorrelatedwiththecurrentunderstandingoftoxicityorhumanhealthriskstoaugmentthehazardinterpretationforcontaminatedsediments.1.1Thisguidecoversproceduresformeasuringthebioaccumulationofsediment-associatedcontaminantsbyinfaunalinvertebrates.Marine,estuarine,andfreshwatersedimentsareamajorsinkforchemicalsthatsorbpreferentiallytoparticles,suchasorganiccompoundswithhighoctanol-water-partitioningcoefficients(Kow)(forexample,polychlorinatedbiphenyls(PCBs)anddichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane(DDT))andmanymetals.Theaccumulationofchemicalsintowholeorbeddedsediments(thatis,consolidatedratherthansuspendedsediments)reducestheirdirectbioavailabilitytopelagicorganismsbutincreasestheexposureofbenthicorganisms.Feedingofpelagicorganismsonbenthicpreycanreintroducesediment-associatedcontaminantsintopelagicfoodwebs.Thebioaccumulationofsediment-associatedcontaminantsbysediment-dwellingorganismscanthereforeresultinecologicalimpactsonbenthicandpelagiccommunitiesandhumanhealthfromtheconsumptionofcontaminatedshellfishorpelagicfish.1.2Methodsofmeasuringbioaccumulationbyinfaunalorganismsfrommarine,estuarine,andfreshwatersedimentscontainingorganicormetalcontaminateswillbediscussed.Theproceduresaredesignedtogeneratequantitativeestimatesofsteady-statetissueresiduesbecausedatafrombioaccumulationtestsareoftenusedinecologicalorhumanhealthriskassessments.Eightypercentofsteady-stateisusedasthegeneralcriterion.Becausetheresultsfromasingleorfewspeciesareoftenextrapolatedtootherspecies,theproceduresaredesignedtomaximizeexposuretosediment-associatedcontaminantssothatresiduesinuntestedspeciesarenotunderestimatedsystematically.A28-dayexposurewithsediment-ingestinginvertebratesandnosupplementalfoodisrecommendedasthestandardsinglesamplingprocedure.Proceduresforlong-termandkinetictestsareprovidedforusewhen80%ofsteady-statewillnotbeobtainedwithin28daysorwhenmorepreciseestimatesofsteady-statetissueresiduesarerequired.Theproceduresareadaptabletoshorterexposuresanddifferentfeedingtypes.Exposuresshorterthan28daysmaybeusedtoidentifywhichcompoundsarebioavailable(thatis,bioaccumulationpotential)orfortestingspeciesthatdonotlivefor28daysinthesediment(forexample,certainChironomus).Non-sediment-ingestorsorspeciesrequiringsupplementaryfoodmaybeusedifthegoalistodetermineuptakeintheseparticularspeciesbecauseoftheirimportanceinecologicalorhumanhealthriskassessments.However,theresultsfromsuchspecies......
